Out Of This World Fashion Show
I was asked to host the Out Of This Word Fashion Show for the Orlando History Center. It was an event that had local fashion design students competing to create a superhero or villain. They had to come up with their own back-story, sketch, and finished garment for the show.
Their designs were judged by a few local celebrities as well as Project Runway’s Jessie LeNoir & Ben Chmura as well as Chris KirkPatrick from N-Sync! Before the fashion show got started, I got the chance to interview Jessie and Ben onstage with questions from the audience.
I also created the (4) huge 7′ by 4′ panels that hung on the wall.
My Digital Media Production team at IADT and I also did all of the videos for the event too. We filmed all the designers and then green-screened them into comic book pages while they talked about their designs. A big thank you to Aimee, Rebecca, and Kim for all their hard work on this project!
